Linear
Fluorescent T5 lamps are the newest and most widely acclaimed lamp
types to enter the market in years. One primary reason is the lamps
enhanced efficiency with only a 5% reduction in lumen output over the
lamps first 40% of life. Additionally, as a result of the lamps
smaller diameter, only .625 in. (5/8"), the lamp is
naturally low in mercury content. Originally developed and widely
utilized throughout Europe, the lamp was introduced to the US market
in 1996, but until recently, only available in common warm
Kelvin Temperatures.
Now though Light Energy Source, these T5 lamps
are available in a natural full spectrum Kelvin Temperature of 5500K
while maintaining a high CRI value of 91. |
