Light Energy Source, Inc. began as a result of the ever increasing demand for light sources manufactured based on specific customer specification requirements and for visually efficient light sources that are scotopically enhanced, as is the case our Life-Lite full spectrum lamps. We at Light Energy Source, Inc. are committed to continuing our tradition of bringing to our customers light sources that exceed their expectations through a worldwide network of high quality production facilities. Each facility utilized by LES must meet stringent quality control criteria established by us. We have been on a continuous quest to develop and produce groundbreaking and visionary products to meet our customers desired specification requirements. We excel at developing light sources for special applications we champion like; aquarium lights, reptile lights, aviary lighting, plant grow lights, x-ray viewers, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) boxes, or scotopically enhanced full spectrum light sources utilized in retail stores, offices, dental facilities, factories, and more. We have always and will continue to search for customers who we can assist in the development of light sources that will enhance their product, business, or special application. While we maintain in stock a few high quality full spectrum products for general distribution, our primary objective is the development of products and phosphor blends on a custom-made-to-order basis. These products are therefore, not commonly "pulled off the shelf", as is often the case with our competition. We like to say "our lamps do more than just get you out of the dark". And they do! Special care is given to the development of our custom phosphor blends. We are experts at producing light sources that are used by leaders in their respective industries to enhance lamps utilized in industries such as, horticulture; aquariums; reptile habitats; plant growth and aviaries. In addition to our internal capabilities, we bring the resources of the worldwide lighting industry to our customers finger tips. But not just any resource. Unlike other competitors, we do not just search far-off countries for some product and accept what is offered off the shelf through their independent sales broker. Rather, we go through an exhaustive analysis of any production facility we source to assure the facility will provide what we and our customers want, not just what they have available. Periodic visits are made to the facilities we utilize to assure compliance with all established quality control criteria. To assist in these efforts, fully staffed offices located in Seoul, South Korea and Guangzhou, China are maintained. From these offices, we are able to assure complete compliance with lamp production schedules, custom specification requirements, shipping and inspection services and most importantly, direct communication with individuals speaking foreign languages other than our own. As a result, our customers can benefit from a direct link to off-shore manufacturers thereby eliminating the need and added expense of working through a foreign trading company or broker. One of our key demands for each facility is the understanding that when applicable, they will utilize phosphors we provide. As a result, we are able to control the spectral quality of the lamp between each production run. LES uses only the finest components within our products. For our fluorescent lamps, this includes the highest quality rare earth phosphors produced by one of the world’s leading phosphor manufacturer's. Within our lamps we can incorporate either Stick or Triple Coil Filaments that promote increased lamp life and performance; and we are capable of incorporating Cathode Guards with the most advanced low mercury GETTER technology available in the industry. In addition to our high quality manufacturing capabilities, our services also include the resources and expertise of an industry recognized expert engineer with over 30 years experience. This individual has been at the forefront of developing full spectrum lamps and creating custom phosphor blends to enhance numerous special applications throughout his career. We have a full test lab on-site and offer these services to our special application or custom lamp specification customers and on an out-source consulting basis as well. Applicable engineering fee's may apply to be determined on a case by case basis. In addition to lamp manufacturing, with offices in Seoul, S. Korea and Guangzhou, China, we are also heavily involved in utilizing our Asia resources to coordinate on behalf of our customers the sourcing of numerous other products and services not associated with lighting products.
